beauty

All this in the charming environment of the Tuscan hills, immersed in the outdoor fragrances, the peace and the calming chatter of the night crickets, the fields of ripe, golden wheat gleaming under the sun which slowly descends behind the silhouette of the landscape and, all around, farmed land marked off by lines of tall cypress trees.
.
On each table where placed simple but elegant vases filled of Lysianthus ,small roses, lavender, and garlic flowers. After a truly Tuscan dinner, a magnificent Millefoglie cake was served. The dancing took place on the terrace garden where everybody enjoyed nice music till one o clock
music, drinks and a few cigars saw all through the end of a successful evening!

Weddings in Tuscany knew they had made another couple very happy...

A canvas of brick red, pink, yellow, blue, mauve, and green; varying shades of green - a more sombre green for the Cypress trees, a silvery green shimmering from the leaves on an olive branch, and a yellow green making up the skins of its first grapes. Tuscany is the most spectacular display of nature. In spring light it is more delicate and enthralling finding, in Tuscany, an ideal palette. The balance of richness and charm of the sweetest season are to be found not only in the landscape, but also in the architecture and food.

Narrow streets, winding roads, houses sporadically positioned here and there, a little hamlet, a car, a tractor. And to the sides fields, sunflowers, hills, farming of wheat or vines, the typical cypress trees, a stable, a small bar or winery. And the smells, lost in time, and few sounds; the fields, sometimes in the shape of a valley, sometimes rippled gradually higher by gentle hills. This is Tuscany.

It was amongst this glorious setting that Jennifer and Nathaniel decided to take their vows, in July 2009.
Nearly 2 months of intense emailing went by before the couple came over for their first sighting of their wedding venue. We met them at the caterer’s, over a board of cheese and meat, and a glass of wine, we discussed the busy days ahead. Afterwards we took the spouses to be to the charming Tuscan Villa we had recommended to them.

Subsequent emails transported us through the following 6 months and some very important decisions. Half a year of continuous communication may sound like a lot but this becomes standard when a couple develops a relationship with a wedding coordinator that is not purely based on business. The couple begins to impart and share much more and we are always happy to be included on their list of friends.

Jennifer and Nathaniel live in London but originally Jennifer is from US and Nathaniel is English. Their 60 guests traveled from US and England. All were thrilled with the sight that welcomed them and couldn’t stop commenting on its beauty.

Jennifer and Nathaniel had their Religious ceremony in the ancient Catholic Church two kms from the Villa A string quartet and a tenor accompanied the touchy ceremony performed by an English speaking priest.

After the ceremony all the guests moved to the Villa where Aperitifs and appetizers were served in the terrace garden while the string quartet delighted the guests. Torches around the terrace created a delicate and romantic atmosphere. Dinner was served around the edge of the still glistening pool as the couple stole a few moments with the photographer in the stunning countryside.
