Carissa Moore, Hawaii native and one of the most celebrated World Champion female professional surfers in the world, has previously given us a peek into her wedding preparation. As a follow up – we’d like to share the images from her wedding day. And what better day to post them than Valentine’s Day!
On Saturday, December 16, Carissa married her high school sweetheart, Luke Untermann. It was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony that took place at a friend’s Oahu property. Carissa looked absolutely stunning in a minimalistic gown that she found at a small shop on the North Shore and bare feet. The theme of “island living” was kept consistent throughout their ceremony and reception and the couple was “so happy with how everything turned out!”
The ceremony was officiated by a friend from the World Surf League and the couple exchanged personal, funny, and heartfelt vows.
Among the 350 guests in attendance were professional surfers Bethany Hamilton, John John Florence, Coco Hoo, Stephanie Gilmore, and Kelia Termini.
