Wedding Day Wheels: Shuttles and Buses Make Wedding Transportation a Breeze

On the day you get hitched, the last thing you want to worry about is hitching a ride. The same goes for the members of your wedding party and even your guests. Figuring out reliable transportation to and from the ceremony, reception, photography stops, hotels, and anywhere in between will take the guesswork out of getting from point A to B and make your wedding day run all the more smoothly.

The Wedding Party Bus

That is, a party bus for the wedding party. Keeping your party together and the energy up are great reasons to go for a private shuttle bus or limousine. This way nobody important can be left behind or arrive late due to traffic or car trouble. This not only takes the planning and stress out of coordinating rides, it also eliminates the risk of tempers flaring because of that one groomsman who is never on time. Leave the scheduling and timeliness to your trusted rental company.

A Chance to Relax & Raise a Glass

If you’re working with a reputable bus, limo, or shuttle service, you and your party can just sit back, relax, and leave the driving to the pros. Since no one in the party is left responsible for operating a vehicle, the time spent on the road can be used to bond the group and encourage celebration. If your shuttle service allows, you might pop a bottle of champagne or pack a cooler of your favorite beer. To top it off, some party buses come with perks like funky lighting and killer sound systems for a BYO party playlist.

The Guest Experience

There are also many important reasons to consider a shuttle or bus for your wedding guests as well. If your ceremony or reception venue doesn’t have ample parking, or if the locations are a fair distance apart, a shuttle is an awesome option.

If you have many out-of-town guests staying at a particular hotel, providing transportation is usually a no-brainer. Often times, the hotel itself will offer a shuttle service both to and from the wedding venue, as a perk to resident guests. With such a simple, seamless way for people to get from place to place, the overall experience for guests will be virtually effortless — and they will appreciate the convenience more than you know.

DON’T drink and drive. DO drink and shuttle.

From signature cocktails to full-on open bars, weddings tend to leave guests in an unfit condition for hitting the roads. When all is said and done, it’s possible that many of your family and friends will need a lift home. Ensuring that all guests get home safely is one of the most important aspects of throwing a successful wedding celebration. These are the people who matter most to you in the world — treat them like the treasures they are and hire a professional to see them home safely.
